Bitcoin Wales @ Tramshed Tech. Bitcoin basics & nation-state adoption

It's been a long time but the Bitcoin Wales Meetup is back this July, chatting about everything Bitcoin! It's an understatement to say a lot has happened since the last pre-lockdown Meetups so we're really looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Tonight we will have a presentation aimed at those new to Bitcoin covering some of the basic things to be aware of including bitcoin storage, security and fraud prevention.

Followed by a group panel discussion with a couple of guests and the popular crypto YouTuber Louis Thomas covering topics such as nation-state adoption of Bitcoin and Bitcoins energy use, both stories that have been propelled to the fore front of public and political attention recently.

There will be time for any questions members may have as well.

There will be the usual FREE beer, soft drinks.

Approximate timings:
6.00pm - Arrive, chat, drinks
6.45pm - Bitcoin basics + Q&A
7.15pm - Panel Discussion + Q&A

When we finish at 8pm, members wanting to chat further can join members either at the Tramshed bar (if open/available) or at the riverside if the weather is fine.

This is an open meetup for anyone who has an interest in cryptocurrencies whether you're a beginner or an expert and we look forward to seeing you on the night.
