Hike in Sintra

Hello everyone ✨

Today we're going to indulge ourselves at an amazing walk through Sintra paths, palaces and castles. All the places we will visit are of free entry for people residing in Portugal. Just bring proof of residence.

Our meeting point will be Sintra Train station. From there we will walk to Palácio Nacional de Sintra, eat a Travesseiro at Piriquita and with the sugar fuel properly start our hike. Our first stop will be the charming and unknown Vila Sassetti. From there we will walk to Castelo dos Mouros. Then we will finally head off to Palácio da Pena. After delighting ourselves we will head back to the historical centre.

Meeting point: Sintra (train station)
Time: 10:00 - ~ 16:30
We will leave the train station at 10:00 with 5 minutes tolerance. Please be on time.
This hike is free and entrance to the places we will visit is also free for all people residing in Portugal, as long as you bring proof of residence.
Please bring at least 1,5l of water, food for lunch (we will eat along the way) and snacks. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and good grip shoes.

We plan to bring many more events but they entail costs (meetup fees, buying games, equipment, etc.). Please make a small contribution, if you can.
