IMPORTANT Read this from the beginning to the end.
Open Water Certification Dives.
Finally, you are getting into the Open-Water. The final step are the Open Water Dives. You will be doing four dives. These dives are the last step toward certification, and this is where you get to experience the Openwater for the first time. You will be, exploring and practicing the skills you have learned during your pool sessions. With an instructor there to help, you will gain real time experience while gaining confidence.

General information
We meet at 7:00 am on Saturday , we will complete 2 dives

On Sunday, we meet again at 7:30 am to complete the final two dives for certification. On Sunday we should be done by 2:00-3:00 pm.

You will need to bring all the equipment listed below with you to Lake Hydra.
Mask, fins, snorkel and booties.
Wetsuit
BCD
Regulator
Weights
Compass
Dive Computer
Hood
Gloves
Scuba tanks
5 Dive planners
Suggested item: Dry clothing/Towel/Bathing Suit/Plenty of water/food & snacks/a rain jacket/sunglasses

It is your responsibility to return the gear by the Thursday after the dives.

**Remember you can combine your open water Course with Nitrox.
With SDI, we can teach computer nitrox at the same time we are teaching open water. We don’t need to wait until after the person is certified in open water to start the nitrox coursework.
