Automating Oracle Analytics Cloud Administration with REST APIs

Session Abstract:
Oracle Analytics Cloud provides a comprehensive REST API that enables the automated automation of various administrative tasks programmatically. This presentation will demonstrate how to use the REST APIs to automate common workflows like deploying analytic content, managing users, and creating snapshots for disaster recovery. Examples will include deploying a catalogue object with all of its dependencies, scheduling regular backups by creating snapshots and bulk-loading users into the identity store from an external source. The presentation will highlight the capabilities provided in the REST API for automation and discuss best practices for integrating the APIs into an administration solution. Attendees will learn how the REST APIs can be leveraged to simplify management, increase agility, and enable infrastructure-as-code workflows for Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Joel is a Senior Business Solutions Architect with over 20 years of working with Oracle products with a focus on Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Analytics Server, Fusion Data Intelligence Platform and Oracle Business Intelligence product lines. Joel has worked on several projects across Europe in roles ranging from Development and team Leading to Architecture.
