Using JAS-MIN like a PRO! DB Performance Profiling session

Details

Session Abstract:
Would you like to find out what is your database performance profile? Maybe you would like to see it in graphical representation?
Which wait events are crucial from overall database perspective, where are potential bottlenecks, what are the most important statistics,
heaviest SQLs and how all of this correlate with time spend on waitings? Can you identify existing or potential performance problems?
Ask JAS-MIN! She will give an answer! (She may be lying or hallucinating but she will definitely give you an answer)

For last year we are developing a open-source tool for community -> JAS-MIN <-
The tool was inspired by the internal Oracle tool, called AWR Miner, written in R.
The problem with AWR Miner is that it is not generally available to non-Oracle employees and that it doesn't analise Statspack.
JAS-MIN is written in Rust, it can parse hundreds of AWR and STATSPACK reports and it is not only visualysing performance statistics,
which makes possible to deep dive in database behavior, but it also integrates with modern LLMs,
allowing you to use built-in chat "AI Assistant" approach in order to talk with it about your database :)
All without publishing report data to the public services.

During this talk we will show you how to use JAS-MIN from scratch.
We will show you 5 practical examples of performance analysis that we did for our customers, using this practical tool.
