Please join us at our next APTC group meeting on Sunday, January 26, 2025. This will be an open discussion/forum for everyone to talk about any physics topic.

Everyone please feel free to ask questions… and we look forward to everyone who can participate

In-person:
1:00 – 1:15 PM -- we will meet and gather in the lobby of the Frontier RTP Building 800 before convening in the 3rd Floor Dive Conference Room

Online & In-person: (Remote attendees attend via Zoom video conferencing):
1:15 – 1:30 PM] -- casual introductions amongst in-person and online participants

ATTENTION: all floors above 1st (Ground) floor are restricted and need an escort to the Dive Conference room on 3rd floor

Schedule:
1:00 PM – 1:15 PM ---> 15 mins -- we will meet and gather in the lobby
1:15 PM – 1:30 PM ---> 15 mins -- casual introductions amongst in-person and online participants
1:30 PM – 2:15 PM ---> 45 mins -- open physics discussion
2:15 PM – 2:30 PM ---> 15 mins -- I'll finish off the meeting discussing and presenting more information on our tentative and potential guest speakers for the next approx. 6 months.

Ø Dr. Mathew Strassler (Theoretical Physicists) has accepted our invitation to give a presentation in February or March 2025
Ø Dr. Francis Halzen (IceCube Observatory - Antarctica) tentatively committed to virtually give a presentation in early 2025
Ø Dr. Lawrence Krauss (Cosmologist) has message me saying that if his schedule permits he could give a presentation
