Cross country skiing at Independence Oaks Clarkston (rentals available)

Snow conditions permitting, so please check the event's updates a day before. Let's meet at the ski rentals. The trails' access is free unless you need to rent your skis (a complete set of cross-country ski gear including skis, poles and boots for $25.). It might be very cold, and there will be some areas open to the winds, so make sure to protect your face. Hand warmers might be helpful as well.
The park has both flat and hilly trails, and the distance might be from 3 to 8 miles, depending on your ability.
