Cambrian Way: Barmouth and the Rhinogs

We'll meet at the Cwm Bychan carpark (there's an honesty box for parking fees), transfer everyone to Barmouth and walk back.

It's a bit of a beast, with a long climb out of Barmouth to Llawlech and a lumpy ridge walk before we even get to the Rhinogs. Rhinog Fach doesn't look too bad (we start from fairly high), but then there's quite a big descent before we climb back up to Rhinog Fawr. From there, it's a long descent (mostly!), down the Roman Steps and back to Cwm Bychan.

23 - 24 km with nearly 1,700m of ascent (14-15 miles and over 5,500 ft).

I'll probably stay somewhere local for the weekend, but haven't decided where yet (I'm open to suggestions). Message me if you want to discuss this.
