Cambrian Way: Llyn Ogwen to Conwy

We will meet in Conwy, transfer everyone to Llyn Ogwen and walk back.

After a relatively gentle start around the back of the lake, there's a big climb up to the Carneddau ridge, topping out on Carnedd Llewellyn at 1,064 metres. After that it's mostly downhill, but with a few more lumps on the way, to Conwy.

It's a long one with plenty of ascent, so you need to be pretty fit and used to hill-walking.

31 km and 1,600m of ascent (19 miles and about 5,200 ft).
