Meet at 9.45 for a 10.00 a.m. start at Castle Car Park in Clun.

We have a gentle warm-up with a flat-ish start on the Shropshire Way north-west past Clun Castle and up the delightfully named River Unk, before a long steady climb up the Cefns.
We then turn south on Offa’s Dyke Path, with a couple of quite steep ascents and descents before dropping down into the Clun valley.
A final climb up to our high point at a little over 1,300 feet before turning east again. joining the Jack Mytton Way, and descending back to Clun, initially cross-country but with a stretch of country lane to finish.

About 11.5 miles with about 2,200 feet of climbing in total.
