Lux Film Club 1 - Contagion

Contagion (2011- Soderbergh movie starring Matt Damon, Kate Winslet and more) gained a second chance at popularity as Covid emerged in 2020 from China leading to widespread lockdowns.

The guardian highlights:
In the UK, thanks to then health secretary Matt Hancock, Soderbergh’s movie even informed vaccine policy.

As we close 2025, we want to open the discussion by comparing the way we lived through covid and the movie contagion.
