Hey Houstonites! I also run an Outdoor Group but it became a bit of a hassle trying to limit all the eclectic events I've wanted to post into a set theme. Welcome to "All The Things" (..I think are interesting and maybe other people do also)...An eclectic mix of social, outdoor, arts/entertainment, intellectual, dining, recreational, cultural, random events and more.
Many events will purposely be selected and/or curated for their uniqueness to cover the bases of all the random multifaceted interests, affiliations, and identities in my own life and beyond. If you see an event that fits your niche and may be your type of tribe and vibe then I suggest you seize the day and attend! It's unlikely you'll see some of these random events again. If you want to host an event for a unique niche you'd love to gather some people around, reach out to me for more info on making that happen.
This group is aimed at adults in their 20's to 40's. All events are 21+, pet free, and smoke free unless specified.
IMPORTANT:
I've learned a thing or two over years of hosting so we have just a few rules to keep things fun, positive, and hassle free.
There isn't a membership or annual fee but events that require an organizer to spend money prior to the event will have a fee to cover costs due at the time of rsvp. If an organizer has to ask more than once for you to submit payment for an event you rsvped to that requires payment you'll be removed from the event. If this happens more than once you'll be removed from the group.
Must have a photo of yourself. Those without clear photos will be removed.
No shows to limited attendance events will be removed.
No shows, bad vibes, male or females constantly "on the prowl" and using the group to shoot their shot at any and every person they find remotely attractive will all swiftly be removed.
