About us

Learn about aquascaping (the art of planted aquariums) through our weekly hands-on workshops as we build and maintain a 75 gallon freshwater planted aquarium for the Lake Zurich American Legion.

All Things Aquascaping hosts monthly aquascaping shows at this location and you will have an opportunity to meet with other hobbyists and purchase locally-grown plants.

Hands-On Aquascaping Workshop

Each week we will working on the aquarium for the Lake Zurich American Legion. No experience is necessary, just an interest in aquarium keeping.

Our monthly aquatic plant sale/aquascaping show runs from 9am-12pm and the workshop starts a half hour after the show wraps up. Admission is free, so you are encouraged to check out the show prior to the workshop.

While the workshops are free, we are asking for a one-time donation of $5 to offset the cost of the equipment and materials.
