Book Club - "In the Lives of Puppets"

Details
Hi Everyone!
Happy New Year - it's finally time for another book club! Here are the books to vote on:
"In the Lives of Puppets" by T J Klune follows three robots: a fatherly android, a pleasantly sadistic nurse machine, and a small vacuum desperate for love and affection; and their human friend. They all live as a family safe and sound in a home built in the tree tops until they meet an unfamiliar android named "HAP".
"Skin of the Sea" by Natasha Bowen follows Simi, a mami wata (a mermaid-like being that collects the souls of people who die at sea to send them to the afterlife) as she travels across sea and land in search of the Supreme Creator after breaking a law that threatens the existance of all mami wata.
"Station Eternity" by Mur Lafferty follows Mallory Viridian, an amateur detective who has escaped to a sentient space station because humans keep dying around her and the authorities are fed up with having an amateur detective keep solving their cases. Things get complicated when the sentient space station allows some additional human guests to visit.
I'll close the vote on Friday 26th January 2024, and we'll meet on Saturday February 17th at 12 pm (pacific time).
Cheers,
Andy
