Fall Color Hike Ottawa Sands

Let's get together and get some steps in with gorgeous scenery. We will be walking around a pretty lake. Once done, we will go across the street to Lake Michigan. We'll venture up several stairs to an overlook with a gorgeous views of the fall colors and Lake Michigan. We will head back through another set of wooded trails. This is roughly 3-4 miles hike with wooded and sandy trails. The navigation system is a bit tricky with the directions. You will see the Coast Guard overflow parking lot before you see the park. You can park in the overflow lot.It's bigger. Then you can go across the street to the small parking lot where we're going meet. I will try to stand out and wave people down. The drive is worth the hike.
