FOREST BATHING: Come on a gentle journey amongst the trees of Hampstead Heath

🌿 We'll explore leafy paths and clearings. We'll spend time noticing the details of the trees, the flora, and the fauna that we encounter along the way. We should feel grounded, relaxed, and connected by the end of our journey (see more info on forest bathing below!) 🌿🌿🌿

There will be lots of silence, so that you can take in the sounds of life and nature all around. Leaves rustling in the wind, birdsong, the occasional hammer of the woodpeckers that live in the quietest areas of woodland. These are good times for reflection.

We will have an optional sharing circle at the end where you can share a bit about your journey through the heath. This is a nice moment for connection.

KEY INFORMATION

• We'll meet at the Hampstead Heath Overground entrance to the park at 18:00
• We will be easy to find because I will have a big green flag that says 'Ecotherapy London'
• We will wait until 18:15 before setting off on our walk. I will share our live location via the WHATSAPP GROUP so you can find us if you're running late.
• Our walk will take us up and down hills, so we'll move slowly and take frequent pauses.
• Please bring your own water and something to sit on if you'd like to (e.g. a plastic bag)
• We will end up at Parliament Hill Viewpoint, which is not far from both Hampstead Heath and Gospel Oak Overground entrances to the park.
