Hi! Welcome to the official Meetup group for SheHoopsLA, a community dedicated to building space for women to play basketball in Los Angeles.
I’m Serena—the founder and organizer of the group. I started SheHoopsLA after months of searching for places to hoop with other women, only to find that most rec spaces were dominated by men. So, I decided to build something different—and here we are :)
This group is open to ALL women, whether you’re new to the game or have been playing for years. We run weekly outdoor games, and all skill levels are welcome.
