You are invited to attend the public monthly meeting of AFSWFLC on Wednesday, Sept 09, 2026, at the Koworx Venice, FL 34285.
Koworx is located on Venice Island along South Tamiami Trail, approx. one-half mile north of the circus bridge.
Note that this will be a permanent change of venue from here on out.

Sarasota County Commissioner Tom Knight (District 3) will explain Florida Amendment 3, the November 3 ballot measure titled “Increased Homestead Exemption; Lower Cap on Increases in Non-Homestead Property Assessments.”
He will cover what changes on a typical bill, what it could mean for the county budget, and the nuances that affect both property owners and renters.
