2026 Get Your ASTA in Gear Hiking Challenges

Join ASTA for 2 hiking/1 maintenance challenges!

To help encourage everyone to get their ASTA in gear, we are offering 3 separate challenges, running from Feb. thru Sept. 2026.

Challenges:
1- Most miles hiked with ASTA
2- Most hikes attended with ASTA
3- Most ASTA Trail Maintenance hours attended

Prizes:
-1st Place in each category is $150 Chamber of Commerce Gift Certificates for local merchants.
-2nd Place in each category is a backpack with hiking swag, $100 value.
-3rd Place in each category is an ASTA T-Shirt and Hat, $60 value.

Sign up in early February to have the best chance to win. We will run the challenges through September, when we will award the prizes at our Annual Fall Gathering. You may sign up at any time between Feb. and Sept.

Do not sign-up thru Meetup. Please email **spartatrails@gmail.com** and put CHALLENGE in the subject line, with your name, email and phone number. Hikes and trail maintenance days will be announced the usual way, thru Meetup, Facebook, and email. Hikes will be at various places. The time and location listed is only for posting on Meetup, since we can't leave these blank.
