DIRECTIONS: The Caloosahatchee Creeks park is at 10130 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers, FL. Take I-75 to Exit 143 Bayshore Road (in North Ft. Myers) and travel East on Route 78 about 2 miles to the sign for this park on the South side of the road. This park entrance is across the road from the large entrance sign to the ECHO Global Farm also off of Route 78.

You will enjoy this easy 2.5 mile hike on boardwalk, paved, gravel, and dirt trails. The trail is mostly shaded with boardwalks in swampy areas. This one and one-half hour hike includes three short loop trails and one short out and back trail to visit the starting point of the newly re-opened primitive trail that goes down to the river. A new swamp observation platform just completed is the highlight of this hike. Bathroom and picnic areas are available. We will meet at the picnic area near the parking lot and bathroom for a brief orientation and activity sign-in.
