Meet at 2:15pm at the Big Horn Bar in the central area at the bottom. We will then all take the chairlift. You are welcome to climb to the top on your own or meet us at the top of Chair 1, but if we will not be waiting much for anyone who is late.
$24 for one-time lift ticket in advance or about $30 in person if you just want to ride Skyline instead of riding Snow Summit in the morning too.
The ride is roughly 3 hours (more if we add Grand View Point, and less if we cut out some of the techy climbs and take the fireroad to the highest point). Please do not sign up if you can’t ride for 3+ hours. This is not a trail for newbs or out of shape riders. There is decent amount of pedaling at altitude as well as rocky technical sections.
Once we get to 2N10 fireroad, we will take it west to Castle Rock and use the trail to descend to CA-18 and then to Nancy's cabin. We will have some cars there to retrieve cars back from Snow Summit.
If you bail out at any point in time, you will be on your own and will have to navigate by yourself. Cell service is spotty or non-existent.
