Roll 9:15 am // Distance 18 miles // Elevation 1,800 feet

**NOTE: This ride is at high elevation. The highest point is at over 6,000 feet. So, be prepared to huff and puff in the thin air.

With exotic wildflowers, panoramic mountain views, and the blissful tranquility that only Mother Nature can provide, The Big Laguna Trail is a rare find in the greater San Diego area. The trail traverses oak and pine woodlands, vast meadows, and during certain seasons, even a clear blue lake.

BLUE RIDE
You have a strong understanding of shifting up and down through the gears. You can brake appropriately on descents and you maintain a comfortable and sturdy stance on controlled climbs and descents. You are confident to ride through a variety of technical features (roots, rocks, tight turns,) although you are most comfortable at a slow and controlled pace.

If you are new to AMTR, please bring a signed and completed waiver to the ride for the ride leader or email it to: amtr.meetup@gmail.com. You will be asked to sign a Waiver if you do not have one on file with us. If you refuse to sign, you cannot join the meetup event.

BIKING ESSENTIALS
Please bring your own biking essential needs like tools, pump, hydration pack, chain link, gloves, energy gel/bar, snacks, camera, and most importantly a HELMET. Knee and elbow pads are NOT required but can offer some piece of mind and extra protection.
