🚴 05/24 SAT 9:00 AM | "THE HUB" (IDYLLWILD) | ADVANCED BLUE LEVEL 🚴

Details

Roll 9:15 am // Distance 12+ miles // Elevation 1,800+ feet

**NOTE: This ride is at high elevation. The highest point is at over 5,000 feet. So, be prepared to huff and puff in the thin air.

Nestled in the San Jacinto Mountains, the small town of Idyllwild has plenty of mountain biking opportunities. The Hub trail network is easily accessible from town and is the main zone for people looking to ride in Idyllwild. The area features a wide variety of single track trails that should put a smile on anyone's face. If not, you don't like riding.

ADVANCED BLUE RIDE
You have a strong understanding and practice with braking, shifting, cornering, and descending skills. You can navigate variable terrain at a good pace. You are confident and comfortable riding singletrack trails and can easily navigate roots, rocks, mud, sand, and creek crossings. You are capable of a front wheel and rear wheel lift and can put the two together to navigate over obstacles. You are fairly confident on steep climbs and descents, but you may walk sections on Black or Double Black trails.
