🚴 08/09 SAT 9:00 AM | HANNA FLAT TO GRAYS PEAK (BIG BEAR) | BLUE LEVEL 🚴

Details

Roll 9:15 am // Distance 14+ miles // Elevation 1,600+ feet

**Note: Be mindful that this ride takes place at 7,000 feet. The air is thin and it makes this ride more strenuous than the mileage and elevation suggests.

Let’s put the “mountain” back into mountain biking. Join us for a day up at Big Bear Lake as we ride Hanna Flat to Grays Peak. Located in Fawnskin, on the North Shore of Big Bear Lake, this is a beautiful XC ride with a mix of singletrack and fire road that leads to epic views of Big Bear Lake from atop Grays Peak. The smell of fresh air and pine needles make for an epic day in the saddle.

BLUE LEVEL RIDE
You have a strong understanding of shifting up and down through the gears. You can brake appropriately on descents and you maintain a comfortable and sturdy stance on controlled climbs and descents. You are confident to ride through a variety of technical features (roots, rocks, tight turns,) although you are most comfortable at a slow and controlled pace.
