Aliso and Wood Canyons is an OC favorite. It is probably the most popular mountain bike trail system in the county and has a little something for every rider (though is lacking in quality XC singletrack).

RIDE LEVEL - ADVANCED GREEN
You are still new to the sport but have been riding consistently for a few months. You can ride at a moderate pace and climb local hills with minimal stops. You are able to shift and brake confidently. You are getting comfortable descending and climbing switchbacks, riding up, down, and over rocks, and are comfortable descending non-technical singletrack.
