**IMPORTANT- on your return flight do not book any earlier that 10 am because the shuttle wants to pick up 5 hours before your flight. The first shuttle pick up is at 6 am from Whistler.

Hi everyone, here's the plan for Whistler. (You do not need a car)
The airport shuttle Ridebooker is what we take from the airport to Whistler and they drop you off near your Airbnb. Once you are at the village you will not need a car. Everything is nearby.

  • WED - those that get in early we can meet up for dinner
  • THUR - Bike park
  • FRI - Squamish. We will rent a group shuttle like last year that will transport our bike and drop us off so we could do two rides and then they'll pick us up. Shuttle round trip 10 people about $65 ish each last years prices. 22 miles, 2260 ft elevation. Trails- Meadow of the Grizzlies and half Nelson, the Pseudo-Tsuga all 3 parts, then lunch then we go over to ride Miki's Magic, Cardrona trail, Tracks from Hell, Rob & Cliff's, Leave of Absence
  • SAT- Whistler trails

*BOOK NEAR THE VILLAGE SO YOU DON'T NEED A RENTAL CAR.

  1. Shuttle from airport to Whistler 2hrs. once you are in the village everything is within walking distance.
  2. Book shuttle
  3. based on where you're staying they can tell you the shuttle stop you need to get off.
  4. check to make sure the shuttle runs early enough for you to make it back to Vancouver on the shuttle and make your flight

*FYI eBike batteries cannot go on any aircraft. You will need to rent an eMTB there, or ground ship your battery with enough time in advance to clear Customs.
**Stay as long as you want. **I recommend staying anywhere in Whistler Village because it's easier to rent bikes, find lodging, restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, tons of shopping and very convenient to everything else including the bike park and hiking trails and easy for everyone to meet up. More details to come.

  • I recommend full face helmet, their trails are not like SoCal trails.
  • You can fly from John Wayne nonstop to Vancouver around $400 or LAX for $294
