🚴 WED 04/01 - SUN 04/05 | SEDONA BABY! | ADVANCED BLUE & UP 🚴
Details
NOTE: E-bikes are technically not allowed on any singletrack in the Red Rock District of the Coconino National Forest. Ride at your own risk.
Join us for an unforgettable multi-day mountain biking getaway in the red rock paradise of Sedona, Arizona! This trip is all about epic singletrack, stunning desert scenery, good vibes, and riding some of the most iconic trails in the Southwest.
Sedona offers a perfect mix of flowy trails, technical rock features, punchy climbs, and rewarding descents. All set against jaw-dropping red rock formations. We’ll ride a variety of classic Sedona routes, tailored to the group’s ability and energy level, with plenty of time to regroup, session features, and soak in the views.
RIDE DETAILS
Intermediate to advanced riders recommended. You should be comfortable riding rocky terrain, ledges, and sustained climbs. This is not a beginner trip, but we’ll keep things supportive and fun.
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
Adobe Jack Trails & Bike Skills Park
Distance 7 miles // Elevation 1,000 feet // Blue Level
The Adobe Jack trails in Central Sedona are a great warm up to Sedona riding and a favorite "chill" ride for locals ranging in difficulty between blue and light black. We will start by climbing Adobe Jack to check out Devil's Kitchen Sinkhole at Soldier's Pass then climb up to Ant Hill for stunning 360 degree views of Central and West Sedona. This route does a double loop so you can descend the two best trails in the system: Grand Central and Javelina.
THURSDAY
Ride Option #1: Dry Creek Trails
Distance 15+ miles // Elevation 1,500+ feet // Advanced Blue
The Dry Creek trails in West Sedona are a great introduction to riding in Sedona. The area is more XC-oriented and less technical (at least for Sedona) than the other major trail systems (sans the Adobe Jack trails). This is my favorite intermediate ride in Sedona combining Chuck Wagon, Mescal, Canyon of Fools, Aerie, etc. to create an epic ride with stellar views and several different types of terrain. The area is also home to Devil’s Bridge, the most popular hike in Sedona, so make sure to get an early start because parking is a pain.
FRIDAY
Ride Option #1: Village of Oak Creek Trails
Distance 15+ miles // Elevation 1,500+ feet // Advanced Blue
Things get a little more kicked up in the Village of Oak Creek. This is probably the most popular intermediate trail system in Sedona. We will start on Slim Shady, then Templeton to Cathedral Rock, down to Easy Breezy and depending on how everybody is feeling we will loop under the road to do the Hog Trails and Broken Arrow or do Little Horse to Llama.
SATURDAY
TBD
