Join us for an exciting group mountain bike ride at Hulda Crooks (also known as South Hills Preserve)! This is a perfect ride for intermediate to advanced riders looking to explore some of the best trails in the Inland Empire. Will ride a variety of the best trails that Hulda has to offer. with plenty of technical features and flowy sections to keep things fun.

Hulda features relatively easy climbs mixed with long descents, amazing flow, twisty off cancer wall rides, and other technical features.

Planned Trails

  1. Pinball Wizard: A thrilling, technical trail twisty turns and fast descents, offering a great mix of challenge and fun.
  2. Dead End: Another twisty, narrow descent that adds some tricky sections to test your handling skills (and huevos).
  3. Sith: Perhaps the most popular intermediate trail in the system featuring some exposure before descending into a twisty tight corners with nice flow.
  4. Return of the Jedi: Test your mettle with a little exposure, som tight turns, and a whole lot of fun.
  5. Outlaw: A fast-paced trail with flowy sections and just the right amount of challenge to finish the ride strong.

RIDE LEVEL - BLACK
You are comfortable and confident at high speeds in technical terrain. Your cornering skills are excellent, and you can easily ride the apex of berms. You are skilled and confident at navigating a variety of technical features such as roots, rocks, mud, sand, and creek crossings. You are very skilled at shifting your weight to navigate technical climbs, descents, and all trail features. You can bunny hop over obstacles and are confident to handle smaller jumps and drops.

If you are new to AMTR, please bring a signed and completed waiver to the ride for the ride leader or email it to: AMTR.Meetup@gmail.com. You will be asked to sign a Waiver if you do not have one on file. If you refuse to sign, you cannot join the meetup event.

BIKING ESSENTIALS
Please bring your own biking essential needs like tools, pump, hydration pack, chain link, gloves, energy gel/bar, snacks, camera, and most importantly a HELMET. Knee and elbow pads are NOT a must but are suitable for extra protection.
