🚴 04/18 SAT 9:00 AM | POST OFFICE LOOP (ANGELUS OAKS) | BLACK 🚴
Details
Distance 20+ miles // Elevation 3,000+ feet
NOTE: Still working out the route, will update.
The Post Office Loop is a classic SoCal mountain bike ride featuring portions of the longest singletrack trail in SoCal. Home of the famous "Hell Ride", SART starts at the South Fork trailhead and ultimately ends all the way down in Redlands. This isn’t a manicured bike park lap. It is a proper mountain bike ride. A little raw, a little unpredictable, and a lot of ass kicking.
You’ll be dirty, exhausted, and hungry by the end, but with a big smile that only true mountain biking brings!
This is one of those rides that feels remote and rugged without being too far from civilization. And it packs a surprising amount of variety into a relatively compact loop. The Post Office Loop starts in Angelus Oaks behind ... you guessed it ... the post office. This portion of the ride can be a wee bit technical and a wee bit narrow, this is not OC Parks riding. Upper SART, on the other hand, from South Fork to Middle Control Road is fast, flowy, fun for the whole family (with a wee bit of exposure in sections).
