“Once Upon a Run Festival & 5K” to benefit Newtown Public Library

On April 19th, the Friends of Newtown Public Library invite you to lace up for Once Upon a Run—an enchanting storybook-themed festival and 5K designed to promote healthy bodies, inspire healthy minds, and support our community’s heart - Newtown Square’s Public Library.
This inaugural event will raise vital funds for children’s programming, digital resources, cultural events, and other services not covered by our library’s operating budget.

4 Campus Boulevard
Newtown Square, PA US 19073
Parking Note:
Access to parking will only be from West Chester Pike and Campus Boulevard. Entry from Bishop Hollow will be closed.
3:00 PM – Races Begin
• 5K Run – $40
• 1-Mile Walk – $25
• Kids Fun Run – FREE
4:00–7:00 PM – Festival Fun
Free festival entry!
Food & Beverage Bracelet: $40 adults / $20 minors / Free for kids 5 & under
5:00 PM – Costume Parade led by Grand Marshal Bluey!
Kids AND adults welcome — prizes awarded for the best looks!
6:00 PM – Raffle Drawings
Including tickets to the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club!
