(Dutch below) The Almere Tech Meetup is all about sharing inspiration around new technology and everything related to digital innovation. Each month (on the third Thursday), we invite a speaker to talk about an innovative technology or a current project. There’s also plenty of opportunity to connect and engage in informal conversations.
We warmly welcome all tech enthusiasts and digital pioneers from Almere and the surrounding area to join our event, hosted at the WonderBit office, right in the heart of Almere.
Come by for a drink and a bite, meet new people, and share your ideas and inspiration!

De Almere Tech Meetup draait om het delen van inspiratie rond nieuwe technologie en alles wat met digitalisering te maken heeft. Tijdens elke bijeenkomst (de 3e donderdag van de maand) nodigen we een spreker uit die vertelt over een innovatieve technologie of een actueel project. Daarnaast is er volop ruimte om in een informele sfeer met elkaar in gesprek te gaan. We verwelkomen alle techliefhebbers en digitale pioniers uit Almere en omgeving om deel te nemen aan ons evenement, dat plaatsvindt op het kantoor van WonderBit, midden in het centrum van Almere.

A practical and thought-provoking talk on one of the most important questions in today's digital world: who actually owns data? As Head of Operations & Security, Iwona Droog-Echt combines her experience in security, privacy and governance to explore the complex relationship between data ownership, legal responsibility and artificial intelligence.
Her talk will cover the definitions (data, information, privacy, security, owner, controller, processor, etc.), legal aspects of data ownership and grey area about data ownership and AI and share some tricky examples to discuss.
