New Moon in Cancer Walk - Nurturing Connection

Meeting Location: Carson Nature Center deck on right just past the restrooms, 3000 W. Carson Drive, Littleton, CO 80120

Time: 6:30 - 8:00pm-ish.

Let's come together in nature around the New Moon time! A New Moon occurs each month and offers us the opportunity to go inward and reflect on a change or a shift we may be seeking in our lives. New beginnings don't have to be about big events or big changes. They can be subtle and have to do with a change in thoughts, patterns, habits, daily routines or possibly that big dream you shrugged off for far too long. Many cultures revolved ceremonies around the first appearance of the new moon. This gathering offers us the time and space to ask ourselves, what new beginning related to health & wellness or ritual & routines would we like to call into our life?
When we meet I will offer some journal 'prompts' to help you focus. I recommend you bring your journal and a pen or pencil because more areas of the brain are activated when you write vs type.
We'll find a good place to sit together, we'll walk and share with the group for our greatest support. 🌱 💫 🙏

Parking is limited at the nature center. Overflow parking is available in the FTD lot across the street which may add about a 5 minute walk to to the meet up spot.

Total walk length is within 2 miles.

A safety consideration could be to dress for the weather, bring layers, other appropriate gear such as a headlamp, flashlight, spikes, small something to sit on (if preferred) on breaks, sunscreen, plenty of water, food, etc. as needed to care for yourself!
