Why come?

• Practise languages in real life — swap English, and any other language with travellers and locals.
• Break the ice over board games — Jenga, UNO, Cards Against Humanity, and other quick-to-learn games are on every table.
• Make genuine friends — most guests arrive solo; our hosts introduce you so nobody’s left standing awkwardly.
• Finish on the dance floor — from 10 pm we clear the tables, turn up the beats and dance till late.

### 💖 WOMEN-LED & SAFETY FIRST

• Female-Founded & Hosted: Aloha is the only Sydney language exchange started and still run by a woman. Most events have a female host on duty all night.
• Buddy Bands: Ask at check-in to be paired with another woman or mixed group for your first hour.
• One-Strike Ban: We have banned many people over the years and are not afraid to ban anyone who makes others feel uncomfortable.
• Quiet Reporting: DM @alohasydney on Instagram or message an admin in our whatsapp group.
