ALOHA TENNIS Free Hitting Practice at Ladera Park by LoveSetMatch 4-6pm

NEW FORMAT
4-5pm: children and adult novice (haven’t picked up a racket or cannot hold a rally)
5-6pm: all other adults/teens/adolescents who can can rally (beginner-intermediate).

ALL AGES ARE WELCOME. Bring a friend or bring your kids! This event will be hosted by LoveSetMatch coaches and volunteers. Coaches will set up fun hitting drills and games. Beginners and smaller kids (ideally ages 6 and up) with limited hitting experience may be paired off with a coach to work on skill development. We have the courts from 4-6pm and you may drop in at any point during that time. This event will recur until the official launch of our tennis clinics.

LoveSetMatch is pleased to announce that we have secured a permit to provide free/low-cost tennis clinics at Ladera Park to support the community in South LA bordering West LA.

As part of our “soft launch,” we are inviting the community, including ALOHA TENNIS members, to join us for some free hitting, while we work to establish a presence and build positive relationships with the community. We aim to spread the word to parents of prospective students of upcoming tennis clinics with the ultimate aim of hosting separate sessions for beginner and intermediate players as well as kids and adults.

Who we are: LoveSetMatch is a 501 (c) (3) Charitable Organization. Our mission is to support underserved communities through fitness education with a focus on children and adolescents. We provide free, low-cost community tennis clinics as Los Angeles County Core and Community Partners, supported by the generosity of our donors, and offer more focused training to aspiring athletes. We aim to create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for all to learn, exercise, and play. All of our coaches are certified with Federal background checks and SafeSport approval to support working with children.

Note: While this is an informal start to our program, you may be asked to sign a liability waiver and photo release in order to participate. For those under 18, a parent/guardian must complete the form.
