Proposed Quiet Reading Meetup — Interest Check ✓

This is a proposed first event for Alone Together Fredericksburg.
I’m posting this to gauge interest before booking the space and to get a sense of what timing works best for people.
The idea is a low-pressure, quiet reading meetup at Tales and Tails in downtown Fredericksburg. It’s a cozy bookstore with a café and a private upstairs room we can (hopefully) reserve if there’s enough interest.

### Proposed format

• Bring your own book (or feel free to buy a book, coffee, or treat from the store to support the venue)
• Quiet or silent reading is welcome
• Conversation is optional, never required
• No introductions, no pressure to speak
• Come late or leave early if you need to

We’ll use a simple 🟢🟡🔴 system to show whether you’re open to chatting:

• 🟢 Green — open to conversation
• 🟡 Yellow — maybe, please ask first
• 🔴 Red — not open to conversation

All cards are respected. No explanations needed.
The host will provide lanyards and/or cards for the 🟢🟡🔴 system — bringing your own is optional.
I’ll also set up an optional chat/hangout space for anyone who prefers to type rather than talk.

### Timing note

The date and time listed are flexible.
If you’re interested but a different weekend time would work better, please comment or message — I’m happy to adjust before booking.

### Accessibility note

The private room at Tales and Tails is upstairs only and not elevator accessible. Stair access is required.
This is an accepting, inclusive space designed to be calm, respectful, and low pressure.
If there’s enough interest, I’ll confirm the booking and post an update.
