Welcome to Alpha English School & Café—a cozy, community-driven space in the heart of Shibuya where people come to connect, chat, and grow.
Normally, we host English conversation tables for Japanese learners every evening and on weekends. But after meeting so many travelers and foreign residents who also want a friendly place to practice Japanese, we decided… why not open our doors to you too?
Made for foreigners in Japan – whether you’re just landing, just staying, or just starting your language journey.
What this is:
A relaxed conversation table with a real Japanese speaker.
No pressure, no tests, no teacher correcting you every five seconds.
Just genuine conversation, at your pace.
O Talk about daily life.
O Ask cultural questions.
O Practice the phrases you meant to say at the konbini.
O Laugh at the mistakes together (because hey, we’ve all been there).
What this is not:
X A formal lesson.
