Lost lake is also known for excellent fly fishing. Keep an eye out for Brook Trout in the water and moose - they are both commonly seen along this trail! This trail can hold snow into the summer months. Located near the small town of Eldora west of Nederland, this route starts at the Hessie Trailhead off County Road 130 and leads to the Devil's Thumb Trail. After beginning this trail and hiking for a while, you’ll come to a trail junction. The trail leading straight follows the Middle Boulder Creek and eventually comes to King Lake.
