Combining the Canyon and Benjamin Loop trails + 4 Mile Canyon trail (a 3/4 mile out-and-back taking us to a beautiful creek) will make this a mainly figure 8 hike with a total distance of 8.5 miles, and an elevation gain of 1,300 ft. The trails are moderate as far as difficulty. This is a beautiful hike, with many photo-ops due to the wide-open vistas and remarkable landscape.
