Event description:
Raven's End is a popular, roughly 7-8 km round-trip hike on the East Ridge of Mount Yamnuska, featuring ~500-530m of elevation gain to stunning, high-angle views of the mountain's cliffs. Recently improved, the trail is considered moderate-hard, offering a safer alternative to the full, technical scramble.
Path: The trail begins with a steep climb through the forest before opening up to the East Ridge, featuring improved, well-defined paths and, in some places, steep, rocky steps.
The Viewpoint: The trail terminates at a, open, windy ridge (Raven’s End) offering expansive views of the Bow Valley, the East Peak of Wendell, and Association Peak.
