Rescheduled: Prairie Mountain, Prairie Creek and Powderface Creek Loop

Important: As I could not post a comment, I am posting here on this event description. This hike was for Sunday June 22 but in light of last Thursdays' news at Bow Lake, I am reposting this event to Monday June 30th. I will keep the event list and waitlist as is, if you can no longer join us on June 30th, please remove yourself from the event.

*For those of you who may still go and hike this Sunday, beware that there is potential

Prairie Mountain! park along the highway by the winter gate, or in the Elbow Falls parking lot and meet on the highway by the winter gate.

We will hike up for about 2hrs-2.5hrs to the top of Prairie Mountain, and continue on down the loop to the beautiful meadow along Powderface.

We will stick together, as the company and conversations are the best.

Option to stop in Bragg Creek after for coffee. Bring lunch for a quaint picnic once we make it off Priaire Mountain. The top tends to be windy.

Duration: 6 hrs (7hrs) Don't have something to rush home for. We may stop in Bragg Creek after.
Elevation: 974m
