Halloween NIGHT Hike - Fullerton Loop (Save the Date)

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

Dress up in a costume or come as you please. This will be a night hike so please bring fully charged headlamps or bring spare batteries. parking lot).

I will start at commentary to see if anyone is interested in having a fire after wards in Allen Bill Pond. It's across the road from Fullerton. if so, bring hot chocolate and firewood.

Fullerton Loop trail in Kananaskis Country near Bragg Creek is just under 7km with an elevation gain of about 220m. We will go up the steep side (ridge edge) and come down through the valley. It takes about 2 hours to complete the entire 7 km loop but this will depend on how many breaks we take, trail conditions, group pace, etc.

We will hike together as a group.

Note:

What to bring

• Hiking shoes/boots with good treads.
• Hiking poles if you like to use them but they are not necessary for this trail.
• Please dress in layers.
• Plenty of water.
• Snacks/hot chocolate/marshmallows/hot dogs/veggie skewers/corn on the cob etc (think camping foods - easy to make on the fire).
• Bear spray! 🐻🐻🐻
• Personal first aid kit.
• Chair and a blanket to keep comfortable.
• Mug/cup for a beverage of choice.
• Gas stove (if you have one - I am bringing mine but we can use another one)
• Firewood/Cooking Utensils/Grill etc.

If anyone needs a ride from the city, please make arrangements through event chat or direct messaging. Please consider a contribution to your driver for gas and park pass.
