I have a lot of wonderful single friends who are smart, independent, interesting, have careers, hobbies, travel, and full lives. And honestly, sometimes I have no idea how they are still single.
One reason is simple: meeting people outside your usual social circle can be surprisingly difficult. So we’re trying something different.

## The No Small Talk Dating Night

You’ll join a Zoom call with other singles. We’ll split you into breakout rooms of four people, where you’ll have 5 minutes to discuss an interesting question. Then we’ll bring everyone back, mix the groups, and send you into a new breakout room with three new people and a new question.
We’ll repeat this for several rounds, so you’ll get to meet quite a few people throughout the evening.
The questions are designed to help you get past the usual dating script. You might talk about a decision that changed your life, something you’re irrationally passionate about, a belief you’ve changed your mind about, or what your friends would probably tease you for.
No “Where are you from?” interviews. No swiping. No pressure to impress anyone. Just interesting questions, real stories, and the possibility of chemistry.

### Who is this for?

We’re looking for single people roughly 25–40 from different countries and backgrounds who are genuinely open to meeting someone from a different culture and potentially building a meaningful relationship.
The event is entirely in English, so you should feel comfortable having conversations in English.
You don’t need an impressive job, a perfect life, or to be an experienced public speaker. We’re looking for curious, open-minded people with stories to tell.

### A little experiment

This is our first time trying the format. We want to see what happens when you take a group of interesting single people, skip the small talk, and give them better questions instead.
One Zoom room. New people every round. Five minutes at a time. No small talk — just good questions, real stories, and the possibility of a little chemistry.
