The Future of this Group ✨🎉

Hello friends!

It's been a while! I've been thinking about ways for this group to continue to grow and I'd love to hear from all of you.

I think it could be really interesting if it became a place where folks who have never organized events before could get some experience doing that and try out their own ideas for art/games events. If you're at all curious about community organization if nothing else this event could be a good way to learn more about it, I'm happy to share what I've learned in my journeys so far <3

A virtual meetup is what I have capacity for at the moment so this will take place online. I haven’t used meetups virtual tools before so there will be some fun tech issues I’m sure but we’ll figure it out. If you can't make it but still want to contribute or get involved please send me a message through meetup or at Leanne.roed@gmail.com

I'll be around as a support for organizers but I would love it if this group grew into more of a tool for folks to create their own events around the subject of games and art that we all can use.

Sometimes the end of something is not a bad thing so if the outcome of this meeting is that this group isn’t necessary anymore that’s okay too :) Thanks for reading this and being part of alt g!
