Welcome to Alt Ladies London! 🖤
Our group is for alternative ladies in London who share a passion for alternative music and culture. Whether you're a goth, metalhead, punk rocker, 90's grunger, indie kid or something in between, we meet up to rock out, visit interesting places, go to gigs, festivals, enjoy nature, and socialise.
We're a pretty casual group, open to lots of activities. Here's what we get up to the most:

🖤 And many other usual and unusual event ideas! 💡
We're a women-only group, but we're happy to join forces with other mixed alternative groups in London on occasion (many of our members are in more than one group). Male guests are welcomed to attend for mixed events such as gigs (please check event descriptions).

We welcome your reviews about how you felt in our Meetup group. Please note factors outside of our control, such as the weather, public transport disruptions, venue security, technical issues at venues, or individual preferences etc are not within the scope of the group’s organisation. “Liminal” brings together four artists whose work navigates the intersections of space and time treating them as overlapping states of becoming.
This exhibition explores the architecture of the transition—those quiet, often overlooked moments where one state of being ends and another has yet to begin.
These works do not seek to provide a destination. Instead, they dwell in the process. By stripping away the context of "arrival" .
The threshold is no longer a barrier to be crossed, but the subject itself, and to linger in the suspension, where the only certainty is the movement between.
“Liminal” invites us to linger in the suspension of the in-between, confronting the ethereal beauty of the "non-place".
