moooltree out and back
Details
quick out and back along the lake moultrie loop.
probably our last chance to do this before e get hawt out chea and the gnats take over and eat all the human.
meeting at the parking lot 10AM, riding out no later than 10:30.
we go about 22miles to the Sandy Beach camping area, camp, then ride back to our vehicles early-ish Sunday morning.
total miles= 43.5
95% gravel with a very short paved section and no roads.
hoping to be back in Charleston by 1-ish sunday afternoon.
i've never ridden this loop but apparently there are sandy sections so chunkier tires are, i'm guessing, highly recommended.
i can fit at least 6 or 7 bikes in my vehicle so if anyone needs transpo, just LMK.
also, if anyone knows about food/resupply options on this section pls advise so i can update this thing. otherwise plan on bringing everything needed for an overnighter.
