Submission season is here. Sundance is open, regional festivals are accepting, and every filmmaker in Atlanta is asking the same question: what actually makes a programmer say yes?
This month we're bringing that conversation to the table with the people who make the decisions. We're hosting a panel with programmers from Georgia's film festivals, to break down what separates a submission that gets watched from one that gets passed over. Poster, bio, press kit, trailer, the disclosure question around AI and hybrid workflows, and the small things that quietly cost people a slot. You'll leave knowing how to position your film before you hit submit.
Everyone leaves with a festival submission checklist: poster, bio, press kit, trailer, and the rest of what you need ready before you submit, so you walk out with a clear to-do list instead of just notes.
We'll also open the night with a short finishing segment on delivering your film to festival spec, so your work looks its best on the biggest screen it lands on.
