Nissan Leaf Prices

Some of you may remember when a basic 4-function calculator cost $100. That has really changed, hasn't it!

Some of you may remember when a computer with less power than today's pocket calculators cost $2000. That has really changed, hasn't it!

That's a standard thing with technology: It starts out really expensive and not very good, then over a few years the performance and price both improve dramatically.

Well, guess what? Nissan has just announced the new prices on the Nissan Leaf - a $6400 DROP in price from last year! How did they do it? Mainly improvements in battery technology.

I remain fully confident that electric cars will be fully competitive with gas cars in about 5 years.
