Pairing: a wine & cheese event for singles

Some things are simply better together. The right wine with the right cheese. The right person at the right moment. The trick, in both cases, is knowing what you're actually looking for.

Pairing is an intimate afternoon for singles in Berlin. Guided by a wine expert and a professional matchmaker, and held at the cozy and unpretentious Nicki's on Mommsenstraße, you're invited to this elevated singles event. No prior knowledge required... just bring your curiosity!

The format is simple: a guided tasting of carefully selected wines paired with cheese & nibbles, good conversation, and a small group of internationally-minded singles who are there for something real rather than something swiped.

You will taste 3 wines: a pinot noir, a cabernet sauvignon, and a chardonnay, and experience how the right cheese can transform your experience of them.

We promise: no speed-dating, no name badges, and no awkward introductions. Just wine, cheese, and a comfortable atmosphere that leaves no one excluded. Amongst the specially selected wines, we'll weave in conversation cards, a short talk from a matchmaker's perspective, and playful details throughout.

Your hosts: Alysia Tofflemire is Germany's only certified matchmaker and founder of Alto, a boutique matchmaking agency for internationally-minded singles across Europe. Annie Jia is a Berlin-based wine expert with deep expertise in wine & hospitality from Shenzhen to Paris.
