Social gathering - Discussion on transhumanism

Nous vous invitons à une rencontre sociale au Parc Laurier. Nous apporterons de la nourriture et des boissons, vous pouvez apporter votre souper. L'événement commence à 17h30 et se poursuit tard dans la soirée.

Nous nous retrouverons entre les deux terrains de baseball et devant le bâtiment de service où vous pourrez trouver des toilettes. Nous planterons un drapeau blanc pour qu'il soit plus facile de nous trouver.

Le but est de socialiser et de discuter de thèmes liés à l'altruisme efficace. La discussion va porter sur le transhumanisme. Nous avons invité Christophe Facal, un étudiant au doctorat à McGill qui rédigeait sa thèse sur le sujet.

We invite you to a social gathering in Parc Laurier. We will bring some food and drink, you are welcome to bring your dinner. The event starts at 5:30 pm and continues late into the evening.

We will meet between the two baseball fields and in front of the service building where you can find bathrooms. We will plant a white flag to make it easier to find us.

The goal is to socialize and discuss themes related to effective altruism. The discussion is going to be about transhumanism. We invited Christophe Facal, a McGill Ph.D student who wrote his thesis on the topic.
