In this hands-on class, you’ll transform simple spools into tiny decorative treasures using layers of paper, fabric, ribbon, lace, and vintage-inspired embellishments. Add beads, charms, buttons, and dangling details to create ornaments that feel nostalgic, playful, or delightfully over-the-top — whatever suits your style.

You’ll learn how to wrap and build your base, layer materials for visual interest, and attach decorative elements using wire and simple jewelry techniques. Whether you love a rustic, vintage look or something bright and glittery, you’ll leave with 2–3 finished ornaments ready to gift or hang.

Most core materials are provided, along with three wooden spools per person. You’re encouraged to bring your favorite papers, trims, or meaningful bits to personalize your creations. Be sure to check the supply list.

No prior experience needed—just a love of making small, beautiful things.

All workshops are for ages 16 and up unless otherwise indicated.

Supplies to bring:

* Glue gun and extra sticks and Tacky glue or Fabri-Tac (some kind of strong craft glue will work)
* Scissors (we have some to share)
* Jewelry pliers (if you have them) for closing jump rings
* Optional personal stash (favorite small papers, meaningful charms/beads/embellishments, special ribbons/lace scraps
